Get to Know Us

City of His Grace (also referred to as CoHG) is a family church for all nations. We are a branch of The Redeemed Christian Church of God worldwide, which was established in 1952 by Pa. Josiah Akindayomi. In 1981, Pastor E.A Adeboye took over as the General Overseer and since then the church continues to enjoy open explosion, growing in leap and bound throughout the world.

City of His Grace Parish started on 9th November 2008. We had our first service at The Granby Hotel, Northfleet, Kent with 5 adults and 4 children. Then we moved to Ebbsfleet Rainbow Centre, and later moved to The Mercy Centre (which is our current location) in Northfleet. We are grateful to God for the increase we have experienced since the first service.

Today, the church has recorded steady growth; big enough to have its own Children’s Church consisting of three different classes, a Youth Church and the Main Church. To the glory of God, we started a new Parish in October 2014 named RCCG Solution Ground, Gravesend. We can boldly testify to God’s Word in Acts 2:47 that the Lord is adding to our number – “Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved”

We are a dynamic church and we believe in preaching the undiluted Word of God in a simple, straightforward and practical manner that will ensure change in the lives of every listener. Our watchword is Holiness and Excellence.

You are invited to worship with us and discover the riches of God’s glory as we fellowship together with the Father

Statement of Faith

We believe in God the Father, the Creator of Heaven and Earth.
• We believe in Jesus Christ, His Son, who was crucified for the sins of all mankind and rose on the third day to sit at the right hand of God the Father.
• We believe in the Holy Spirit, who dwells in us and guides us according to the will of the Father.
• We believe in the Bible as the infallible Word of God.
• We believe in divine healing, the restoration of health to the one who believes and acts out God’s word, and that Jesus is the Healer.
• We believe in tithing and bringing offerings into the local church. We also believe in giving alms, caring for the poor, sick, homeless and otherwise unfortunate.
• We believe in water baptism in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Our Vision

To build a family church of all nations, colours and creed with committed believers whose focus above everything else will be on heaven at the same time not being miserable on earth.

• To be a church that affects and effect members and the community in all areas of life; giving a better meaning to life.

• To be a growing, glowing and influential church.
